The University Programme Section at CLA provides language training in Cantonese and Putonghua to CUHK students.
According to their learning purpose and language background, language proficiency courses are sub-divided into: (1) Cantonese for Putonghua speaking students; (2) Cantonese for international students; (3) Putonghua for local students; and (4) Putonghua for international students.

TEST SCHEDULE
The HSK test date for April 2026 is
11 April 2026 (Saturday). HSK level I to VI will be offered. Online application opens on 9 Feb 2026. The application deadline is
